A Camp to Remember (ACTR) is a fun, supportive, and healing overnight summer camp for kids entering 3rd-9th grade who are grieving the death of a family member or loved one.
2024 ACTR Youth camp will take place August 8-11 (Thursday late afternoon through Sunday morning) on the shores of Flathead Lake, MT.
Campfires, kayaking, arts & crafts, games, and scavenger hunts are interspersed with opportunities to honor and share grief with understanding peers.
Please note: Completion of this registration form does not guarantee acceptance to camp. Register early as space is limited! EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION DISCOUNT THROUGH JUNE 28. A full refund will be issued if your application is not accepted for this program. Fees are refundable, minus a $75 processing fee, up to 3 weeks prior to the program start date. Within 3 weeks of the program, (after July 18th) fees are non-refundable.

Our team is committed to hosting a magnificent and meaningful A Camp to Remember that is a positive experience for all. Our biggest goal is to provide an emotionally and physically safe camp experience. Together we will determine if your child is likely to benefit from camp. Your thoughtful, honest, and complete responses help us best support your child. Campers of any age must be able to engage constructively with others in group settings and must not require one-on-one supervision to do so throughout the days and nights. Loving volunteers join TGRC Staff to ensure a 3:1 Camper:Staff ratio throughout camp. Please note: Though trained in grief support and nature-base programming, many volunteers do not have training nor experience in significant behavior challenges.
Upon being accepted to camp, you will receive additional information (directions to camp, schedules, times of arrival and departure, etc.)
Good news! TGRC has many support options available for families. If camp is not the best fit for your child at this time, or if we have reached capacity, our Program Team is happy to explore other resources that may be enjoyable and beneficial for your child. Call with questions!
